Battery won’t charge? Don’t throw it away — DJI and Dyson batteries can be restored
18.10.2026
A DJI drone or Dyson vacuum battery is expensive, and when it suddenly stops charging, it feels like you need a new one. But often the battery isn’t broken, just locked. iServiss now checks and restores them.

Why a battery “dies”
Every battery has a protection board. If one cell discharges too deeply or the cells end up at different voltages, the board locks the battery to protect it. From the outside it looks completely dead.

What we do
We unlock the protection board, measure the voltage of each cell and even them out or replace the weak cells. For Dyson batteries we fit a balancer — it balances the charge so all the cells charge at the same rate.

Check first
We check every battery first and only then tell you whether it can be brought back. If it can’t, we’ll tell you straight.

Tips
- Don’t leave a battery fully discharged for long — that’s the most common way it gets locked.
- A swollen battery is dangerous: don’t charge it, bring it in to us.
